Dave Freitas Racing opened up its new 3,500 sq. ft. Whittier, Ca shop in 2014 with the goal of giving its customers unsurpassed service and quality.
The team has also added new personnel for this season-
Robert Simpson is an long time DFR mechanic with 20 years preparing Formula Atlantic, Formula 2000 as well as Formula Ford. His return to the team was one of the main reasons DFR captured the title in 2016, as he was car chief on the #3 car that won.
AJ Latteri is a driver/driver coach with a specialty in I.T that has been added to DFR to raise the technical side of the team beyond industry standards. His impact on the team has been immediately felt with many new innovations being implemented.
Buddy Rice, Indy 500 Champion, has been brought on board as a driver coach for this season. He comes to the team with impeccable credentials and a wealth of knowledge unsurpassed.
Along with the new additions to the team is veteran DFR driver coach and ex-DFR driver Robert Podlesni, who make the addition of the new personal seamless.
The team will continue to evolve and improve to provide its customers with everything needed to become champions in their own right.
